Bricks 4 Kidz Programmes and Services under the Traffic Light SystemBricks 4 Kidz is committed to the providing safe and healthy spaces for our students and employees in line with government requirements. Bricks 4 Kidz operates two different types of service; Educational Programmes and Events (Holiday Programmes, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties etc), both of which require our staff to be vaccinated.
Bricks 4 Kidz as Education Providers
Our staff have all reached the COVID-19 safety requirements. Our staff are dedicated to providing a safe environment for our students, parents and teachers.
Bricks 4 Kidz as an Event Host
As an events venue which requires the My Vaccine Pass for all eligible attendees (those over 12 years old), the vaccine mandated extends to our staff that work in this setting too. If you book a birthday party or event with Bricks 4 Kidz, or your child attends a holiday programmes, you have peace of mind of knowing that all staff are fully in line with the COVID-19 safety requirements.
Public Health Measures at all Levels
-We will display our NZ Covid Tracer app poster as well as using enrolment lists classes, sessions and events.
-When entering the centre, adults or children above the age of 12 years old will be required to show their vaccine pass.
-We will ensure basic hygiene measures are carried out throughout the classes, sessions and events, including hand sanitising for all staff and students before entering and when leaving.
-We will wipe down all desks with disinfectant before and after classes.
-We will keep all indoor spaces well ventilated by opening windows, doors and any vents where possible.
-If a guest or student comes to an event or session and has cold/flu symptoms we will require them to be collected immediately.
-We will strongly encourage all parents to wear face coverings when collecting children.

Bricks 4 Kidz as Education Providers
-Face Coverings will be required for staff teaching, and strongly encouraged for all students when indoors or in close contact with others.
-We will allow children to remove their masks when eating, only at designated break and meal times and while seated in their groups.
-All teachers and students will be temperature checked on entry.
-We will limit the use of shared equipment, such as LEGO® and robotics equipment, iPads and/or computers.
-We will not allow external visitors onsite.
-Children will be divided into groups, and the centre will have a maximum of 28 people, including teaching staff.
-We will maintain a 1m physical distancing with other groups and people in the vicinity of our sessions.
-Before and after using any equipment, hand sanitising will be carried out.
-We will minimise staff working across groups/classes.
-We will clean and disinfect all equipment at the end of every day.
-Parents will not be allowed within the classroom/session and upon collection, parents must remain outside, scan and wear face covering in order to collect their children. In the event of an emergency, the parent may be allowed inside to collect their child, only one at a time. Parents must exit the building quickly, preferably from a separate exit to the entry.

-We encourage Face Coverings.
-We will ensure that our food service is seated only.
-We will allow up to 100 people and/ or based on 1m distancing (whichever is the lesser) per defined space.
-We will sight all My Vaccine Passes
-We will limit the use of shared equipment, such as LEGO® and robotics equipment, iPads and/or computers.
-Before and after using any equipment, hand sanitising will be carried out.
-We will clean and disinfect all equipment at the end of every day.

–Face Coverings will be required for staff teaching, and strongly recommended for students when indoors or in close contact with others.
-We will allow children to remove their masks when eating, only at designated break and meal times.

-Our staff will work across more than one group.
-Children from different groups may mingle with each other.
-We will encourage Face Coverings indoors
-We will sight all My Vaccine Passes.
