Tap into your child’s potential by encouraging their creativity with Bricks 4 Kidz® Holiday Programme, a fresh and fun way for kids aged 5-12 to spend their school holiday!

Students will show off their engineering skills, problem solving, creativity and imagination, explore the world of Science, Engineering and Architecture using STEAM principles. Your only limitation is your imagination!

April 2021 Holiday Programme

Calling All Future Innovators:
Join us this school holiday in a fun journey exploring our futures and digging into our past, in order to inspire our future innovators to have a growth mindset and vision for the future!

The first week aims to ignite our future scientists and engineer’s passion and creativity through STEAM enquiries, ranging from what we would need to settle on Mars to developing sustainable cities here on Earth. The second week will inform these future enquiries through a look to our past, seeking to understand where we come from, to guide our future aspirations.

Join us on a voyage of discovery as we explore the Sun, planets, moons, asteroids, comets and meteoroids of our Solar System. 

Imagining Mars

Tuesday, 20th April

Can you imagine living on a different planet? What would that look like? Let’s follow the Perseverance Rover to Mars, where it’s findings will inform our own designs of a Human Settlement on a new planet. Join us and take part in the Human Habitat challenge and build a city on Mars!

Defying Gravity

Wednesday, 21st April

Explore concepts that defy gravity! Can you build up-side-down like your favourite TV master builder? Explore tension with tensegrity, and find out who wins in Magnets vs Gravity. Challenge your own creativity, balance and physics in defying gravity!

Building Our Future

Thursday, 22nd April

It’s International Earth Day! Time to celebrate our beautiful planet, and plan for our sustainable future. We will explore conserving Earth’s resources, sustainable architecture and green energy. Let’s build a future city!

Galaxy Far Away

Friday, 23rd April

Join our Friday Fun Day with Star Wars inspired intergalactic adventures. Let your imagination and creativity blast off in this space exploration! With prizes for our best dressed, will you be a Trooper or a Princess?

Travel back in time to explore vehicles and technology which help shaping our New Zealand history and present. Learning from the past helps us innovate in the future.

Prehistoric Inventions

Wednesday, 28th April

Come join this Croods inspired day on a journey to the prehistoric world and create interesting inventions with your creativity and imagination,  and learn about humanity’s shared history dating back to the prehistoric.

Hunt for the Lost Treasure

Thursday, 29th April

It’s time for adventure. Join Monkie Kid, Mulan and Raya as we hunt for the lost treasures of Asia. Who’s up for team puzzle solving and treasure hunt?

Māui’s Ocean Voyage

Friday, 30th April

Inspired by Moana, discover the legends of Māui, the great hero and innovator of Polynesian mythology. His stories lead to an understanding of using our strengths and innovation to help others.
