After School LEGO® Instructors
Part Time | Auckland (multiple locations)Job Description
We are looking for superstar instructors for an after school play-based learning programme using LEGO® to teach kids creativity, critical-thinking skills, robotics and programming fundamentals.
Full training is provided, you’re supplied with all the equipment and easy-to-follow lesson plans! Coding and building is at a primary school level and is easy to learn and teach; no prior experience with robotics or programming is required.
Work between the hours of 2:45pm – 5:30pm, with shifts from 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Ideally you will be able to work at least three days a week but more is great!
Children learn best when having fun, so if you’re an outgoing, friendly and energetic person, we’d love to hear from you.
Qualifications:
- Love kids! and enjoy working with children ages 5 – 12.
- Willingness to learn and be a dependable team player in effectively communicating shift availability and being on time.
- Need reliable transport to be able to get between different schools to teach. Driver’s license and access to a car is preferred.
- Being passionate about education, having general mathematical knowledge and being tech smart is preferred.
This position is available immediately, across Auckland including North Shore, Auckland Central, Rodney/Hibiscus Coast, West, East and South Auckland. The pay rate for this role starts at $22 an hour and there’s room for growth.
