Junior Robotics Classes (Ages 5-8)

Build on your child’s LEGO® experience and take it to the next level with this fun, engaging class. We will challenge your young LEGO® enthusiasts with technic building and coding.

We use LEGO®’s software, sensors and iPads to customise the building with sound and motion. This is an excellent introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will ignite their imagination and introduce them to the possibilities of today’s technology world.

Junior Robotics Level 1 Classes: Coding Introduction (Age 5-8)

Junior Robotic Level 1 class is our introductory programme using LEGO® WeDo® 2.0. The programme is designed to introduce kids to robotics and basic coding principles.

Combines WeDo “drag and drop” pictorial Coding with our own Bricks 4 Kidz® models to spark and develop young students’ interest in Science, Computing, Engineering and Technology subjects.

Junior Robotics Level 2 Classes: Sensor Programming (Age 6-8)

Junior Robotics Level 2 class introduces sound, tilt and motion sensors, the programme challenge students in their robotics and coding principles.

Students will learn how to write more complex programmes using LEGO® WeDo® 2.0 software to control and operate the unique BRICKS 4 KIDZ® models that they build, boost their critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Junior Robotics Level 3: Mechanical Solutions (Age 8+)

Students will explore mechanical concepts such as speed, power, gearing, distance, and dynamics. The course will focus on key robotic and coding principles including the continuation of sensors.

They will explore the step-by-step engineering design process, understand how engineers solve complex problems, develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills, taking them one step closer to being future engineers!

Advanced Robotics Classes (Ages 9+)

Bricks 4 Kidz® utilises LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 technologies with unique robot models, students are introduced to the EV3 graphic programming language.

STEAM concepts and teamwork are combined in this action packed programme where kids learn real-life skills while having real-kid fun!

SPIKE Prime Robotics Classes (Ages 9+)

SPIKE Prime Robotics combines the colourful visual building elements of the LEGO® Education SPIKE Prime Set and  coding language based on Scratch. This class engages students of ages 9+ and equip them with skills to solve complex problems through critical thinking.

This course teaches essential STEAM concepts and hands-on projects to erase the boundaries of creative design and robotics. Helping students of today to become the innovators of tomorrow through having fun!

Benefits of Bricks 4 Kidz® STEAM Programmes

Children learn best when having fun! Play is our foremost objective

Science

Each lesson provides kids with a new scientific vocabulary. Lessons that focus on topics such as laws of motion, employ the concept of physical science, requiring children to apply what they’ve learned to their hands-on projects.

Technology

Technology implements the use of science to invent and problem solve. Children use their creativity and analytical skills to discover viable solutions to problems presented at the start of each lesson.

Engineering

Engineering uses the practical application of science to design and create. Although they may not realize it, kids use engineering skills to construct models, such as simple machines, vehicles, architecture buildings, etc.

Arts

Arts provides children with the opportunity to design, develop, construct and implement their innovative ideas. At Bricks 4 Kidz we allow children to follow their creative direction and inspire them to unleash their imagination.

Mathematics

Children are given the opportunity to invariably utilise math skills as they count, measure and build with LEGO® Bricks. Students build numeracy and problem solving skills through abstract mathematical concepts.
