LEGO® Themed Holiday Programme

Fun and Educational Activities included in a Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO Themed Holiday Programmes:

Children work in small groups to build projects using Bricks 4 Kidz® project kits, LEGO® Colour Kits, Mosaics and over 50,000 pieces of LEGO® bricks. We keep the action going with unique games and challenges using LEGO® Bricks to make sure they get their fill of LEGO® fun! Kids have loads of fun (and learn a bunch!) as they use LEGO® bricks to explore the world of engineering, architecture, robotics and animation movie-making in an open, friendly and team-based environment.

Junior Robotics (Aged 5-8)

How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do?

Build on your child’s LEGO® experience and take it to the next level with this fun, engaging programme. We will challenge your young LEGO® enthusiasts with technic building and programming.  This is an excellent introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will ignite their imagination and introduce them to the possibilities of today’s technological world.

  

Advanced Robotics (Aged 9+)

The students will use LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 technology to plan, test and modify sequences of instructions from a variety of real life robotic behaviors. Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into their own purpose built robots. Students work in pairs to solve challenges, allowing them to learn complex problem solving and team work skills, in a fun environment.

Motorised LEGO® Model Building

Using specialized LEGO® Technic pieces such as gears, axles, and electric motors, children will experience hand-on engineering fundamentals as they build motorised models using LEGO® Bricks.  Children are introduced to the world of science, engineering, and architecture principles.

  

3D LEGO®  Model Building & Mosaic

    

Brick City Engineer

Children will learn different elements of STEM principles, then apply their creativity to build their own Brick City! Dig in more than 50,000 pieces of LEGO® bricks, explore   the world of engineering and architecture using STEM principles.

    

Stop Motion Animation LEGO Movie Making

Lights, camera, LEGO® action! Use LEGO® bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favourite LEGO® characters!

In the Stop Motion Animation LEGO Movie Making day, children get the chance to work on their LEGO movie project from storyboard to complete, share and present to their classmates, encouraging imagination and creativity, facilitating team building and sense of achievement.

  • Screenwriting & Production Design – exploring the steps from the first idea to storyboards.
  • Art Director & Costume Design – developing the storyboards into sets and characters.
  • Cinematography – Looking at lighting and movement in a stop motion animation.
  • Editing, Directing and Producing – Effectively using sound and special effects.
