Take your child’s imagination and creativity one step further! Our holiday programme is FUN and EDUCATIONAL that empowers problem solvers, innovative & critical thinkers and team work.

Every day is filled with a unique variety of activities to keep the creativity rolling. Let your child’s curiosity explore and let them become inspired through STEAM based challenges that have many developmental benefits through problem solving, team work, and innovative thinking.

July Holiday Programme Theme: Real-life Heroes

Join us this holiday as our favourite characters and superheroes introduce us to their real-life counterparts.

In week one, we will explore Nobel Laureates and the amazing work they do in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature and peace. In week two we will be inspired by Olympic and Guinness Record breakers, to discover our own talents and to keep pushing our own limits to reach our true potential.

With Bricks 4 Kidz your children will begin to cultivate their dreams and become the innovators and adventurers of tomorrow!

Week 1: Real-life Heroes – Nobel Laureates

11 – 15 July 2022

In week one, we will explore Nobel Laureates and the amazing work they do in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature and peace.

Agent of Peace

Monday, 11th July

Diana, princess of Amazonia, is proud to introduce us to Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov. Just as our hero fights off the evil in the world, so to do our current Peace Laureates, recognized for their journalistic work which safeguards our rights for freedom of expression, standing up for democracy and lasting peace.

Climate Action Man

Tuesday, 12th July

What does our aqua hero and Physics Laureates Syukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann have in common? Their work in protecting our environment of course! Join the team – the climate action superheroes – as we look at how we can play our part in protecting the environment.

Spidey’s Chemistry Lab

Wednesday, 13th July

Join this friendly neighbourhood hero as he heads to the chemistry lab to discover the work of Chemistry Laureates Benjamin List and David MacMillan, as well as share some of his superpower spiderweb chemistry tricks with us.

Elsa’s Tale of Temperature

Thursday, 14th July

Why is Elsa so excited by Medicine & Phsyiology Laureates David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian work? Could their discoveries of receptors for temperature and touch help her take control of her ice powers? Join us as we discover methods of capturing and controlling temperatures.

Super Explosive Adventures

Friday, 15th July

Why did this superhero come to Earth? Why do people leave their home countries? What would you do if a volcano erupted or a tsunami hit the shore? The man of steel introduces us to Nobel Literature Laureate Abdulrazak Gurnah, as we explore what it means to be a refugee, including builds and science experiments of natural disasters that could lead to evacuating ones home.

Monday, 18th July

This green goliath is so excited to present real-life record-breaking strongmen and women with us on this day of strength challenges! Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate strength builder. Just how strong can we build? Will our builds hold up to the challenges, or crumble under an ultimate smash?

Sonic Speed

Tuesday, 19th July

Sonic Speed! Join the world’s fastest Hedgehog as he discovers the world’s fastest humans of all time. This cheeky hedgehog has some speed challenges planned for our builds as well, putting Lego physics to the test as we race our builds and crown the ultimate Speed Champion!

Wizarding Smarts

Wednesday, 20th July

Join Harry on this journey of IQ discovery, where we will explore how his understanding of the game of chess helped his friends, what it takes to be a Chess Master, whether Einstein played chess and how to create and play IQ games that test our smarts with LEGO.

Buzz’s Space Adventure

Thursday, 21st July

Buzz is pretty excited to have his own movie this year, but he’s even more excited to share with us his favourite out-of-this-world record breakers! Let’s hop on board as he takes us on a space adventure to meet record breaking Astronaut superstars!

LEGO Ninja Stealth

Friday, 22nd July

The LEGO ninjas are back to share tips and tricks on stealth. They will share with us stealth tactics from the ancient wisdom of martial arts to the latest technology of light bending materials being developed and tested by military forces in this action packed final day for our Winter Holiday Programme.

Hands-on Engineering Projects

Students will experience the hands-on fun of model-building, from concept to completion. While exploring principles of engineering, architecture, physics and more.

Robotics and Coding

We offer an excellent introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will ignite your child’s imagination and introduce them to the possibilities of today’s technology world.

Creative Challenges

A creative building provides children with the opportunity to design, develop, construct and implement their innovative ideas. We motivate children to follow their creative direction and inspire them to build their imagination.

Science

Each lesson provides kids with a new scientific vocabulary. Lessons that focus on topics such as laws of motion, employ the concept of physical science, requiring children to apply what they’ve learned to their hands-on projects.

Technology

Technology implements the use of science to invent and problem solve. Children use their creativity and analytical skills to discover viable solutions to problems presented at the start of each lesson.

Engineering

Engineering uses the practical application of science to design and create. Although they may not realize it, kids use engineering skills to construct models, such as simple machines, vehicles, architecture buildings, etc.

Arts

Arts provides children with the opportunity to design, develop, construct and implement their innovative ideas. At Bricks 4 Kidz we allow children to follow their creative direction and inspire them to unleash their imagination.

Mathematics

Children are given the opportunity to invariably utilise math skills as they count, measure and build with LEGO® Bricks. Students build numeracy and problem solving skills through abstract mathematical concepts.
