Our STEAM Activities

With our engaging Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics stations your child gets to discover through learning, building and hands-on play! We empower today’s young learners, to become the innovators & problem solvers of tomorrow!

Budding scientists explore science through hands-on STEAM projects. Every day they get to conduct fun and exciting themed science experiments using LEGO and other tools to explore the world in just the palm of their hands!

Young engineers and technology enthusiasts enrich their LEGO® experience with our LEGO robotics and coding stations. Kids complete themed motorised builds and learn basic coding and programming principles to make their models come to life!

Young innovators and artists spark their imagination by completing epic creative themed model building and problem solving challenges. Children are inspired to unleash their creativity through the versatility of LEGO® bricks!

Frequently Asked Questions

What does my child need to bring?

Please pack morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a drink bottle. Hot lunches are available to purchase however please kindly still provide morning tea, afternoon tea and a drink bottle.

What is the staff to kids ratio?

We have a 1:8 ratio for our Albany Creativity Centre holiday programme.

Are your staff trained?

Our staff undergo a thorough recruitment process which includes reference checks and police checks. Our staff are experienced and highly trained to look after children of all ages and complete regular training assessments.

Will my child be put in a group for the day? Can they be with their friends?

At 9:30am during our roll call and Bricks 4 Kidz expectations, your child will be placed into age-appropriate groups. If your child has enrolled with a friend, we are more than happy to put both kids in the same group. When you enrol add it to the special instructions or notify one of our friendly staff members during sign-in on the day.

Are the activities suitable for child's ability?

Your child will be put into age-appropriate groups, each activity is altered to the age of the group and to the skills of the child to keep your little one engaged. We have different difficulty levels for all activities which are guided by our friendly staff to ensure every child can complete a project within the given timeframe.

Do I have to enrol for the whole holiday programme?

Each day offers a different theme with new builds and projects, to keep your child feeling excited and engaged when they walk into our Creativity Centre. This means you do not have to enrol for the whole time, you can book on a day-by-day basis.

Can my child take their build home?

Due to the copyrighted contents and expense of LEGO Supplies, students do not take home projects or pieces. However every day your child will create a take-home gift.

Do you take photos?

Throughout the day we take photos of the station’s activities so you can see what your child got up to. However, unless requested we may not take photos of every child.

Photos will only be taken of children whose parents and caregivers have agreed to the photo release consent upon enrollment.

What is your holiday programme credit & refund policy?

Holiday programme Refund / Credit Policy:

Full refunds are available up to 2 weeks before the Holiday Programme start day. Once the Holiday Programme begins, refunds are not applicable.
No refunds or credits will be given if a student does not attend Holiday Programme without prior reasonable notice.
Credits will be given in value format (amount instead of days) and recorded in our system.
Holiday programme credits are only valid for future holiday programmes.
