Programme Policies
CLASS CREDIT & REFUND POLICY:
- Full refunds are available up to 2 weeks before the term start day. Once the term begins, refunds are not applicable. However, if you choose to discontinue classes after the term has started for valid reasons, your Bricks 4 Kidz account may be credited for future After School classes.
- After school class credits are contingent upon the customer’s account being up to date with payments.
- Credits will be issued upon parental request for leave, provided the request is made in advance.
- Each student is eligible for a maximum of 2 class credits per term.
- No refunds or credits will be given if a student does not attend class without prior notice.
- Credits will be denoted in monetary value and recorded in our system.
- After school class credits are only applicable when signing up for a full term.
- Credits can only be used for After School classes.
HOLIDAY PROGRAMME CREDIT & REFUND POLICY:
- Full refunds are available up to 2 weeks before the Holiday Programme start day. Once the Holiday Programme begins, refunds are not applicable.
- No refunds or credits will be given if a student does not attend Holiday Programme without prior reasonable notice.
- Credits will be given in value format (amount instead of days) and recorded in our system.
- Holiday programme credits are only valid for future holiday programmes.
MAKE-UP CLASSES & TRANSFER POLICY:
Make up classes & transfers will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class.
PROGRAMME CANCELLATIONS:
Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to cancel any programme due to insufficient enrolment. Upon cancellation, a full refund may be issued prior to the commencement date of the programme.
DISMISSAL POLICY:
Children will only be released to a those listed on your registration form. All persons authorised to pick up students must be at least 16 years of age.
If someone other than a parent will pick up your child, please give us prior written notice.
If there is an emergency and no one on your list can pick up your child, the primary parent/guardian must call Bricks 4 Kidz to allow another adult to pick up the child or send a signed note of authorisation with that person.
Those who are authorised to walk home after our class must submit a prior written notice.
CLASS CONDUCT:
Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to release, without refund of program fees, any child whose behaviour becomes unmanageable. This action will not be taken without verbal and written warnings.
No children will be allowed to intentionally physically harm any other persons or person’s property while class is in session.
Bricks 4 Kidz is NOT responsible for damages or loss of any personal property while at a class.
STAFF:
Bricks 4 Kidz instructors are individuals who have a great interest and ability in teaching Bricks 4 Kidz programs to students in an exciting way.
Each instructor is trained in teaching specific lessons involving various themes throughout our programs. Our teachers and staff members are qualified in various areas to fulfil the needs reflecting S.T.E.A.M. based learning.
In addition, all instructors are properly vetted with an extensive background check.
DO STUDENTS TAKE HOME THEIR PROJECTS?
Due to the copy righted contents and expense of LEGO Supplies, students do not take home projects or pieces. We do offer items throughout their reflective programs.
