Bricks 4 Kidz In-School STEAM Workshops Core Programmes

Bricks 4 Kidz® STEAM Education Curriculum teaches important critical thinking skills that will create future problem solvers!

Bricks 4 Kidz classes build upon the universal popularity of LEGO® to deliver engaging and fun educational play.

Our inclusive classes build upon student knowledge through a diverse hands-on experience when learning topics such as science and technology.

Bricks 4 Kidz aims to make STEAM education accessible to all tamariki of New Zealand by providing teachers, equipment and STEAM education curriculum to deliver a unique experience or classes on a progressive term basis.

Junior Engineer

(Years 0 – 8)
Experience hands-on engineering fundamentals as we build LEGO® motorised models. Develops students’ design thinking, information processing and problem solving skills alongside the exploration of science, physics and engineering.

Junior Robotics Level 1

(Years 0 – 4)
Combines hands-on robotics model building with  pictorial coding, to spark and develop students’ interest in Science, Computing, Engineering and Technology subjects. Complimented with problem solving challenges to stimulate critical thinking.

Junior Robotics Level 2

(Years 3 – 4)
Junior Robotics Level 2 programme introduces sound, tilt and motion sensors. The programme challenges students in their robotics & coding principles. Learn how to write more complex programmes to control and operate the unique  models that we build.

SPIKE Prime Junior Robotics

(Years 3 – 4)
Explore the exciting world of creativity and problem-solving with our SPIKE Junior programme! Create LEGO SPIKE robotics builds that use a range of sensors and motion which allow students to learn about real-world applications of robotics in areas such as engineering, science, and technology in a fun and experimental way.

SPIKE Prime Senior Robotics

(Years 4+)
This programme equips students with the skills to solve complex problems through critical thinking. As an advanced course, it links STEAM topics to real-life issues, enabling children to build practical, real-life solutions. This course teaches essential STEAM concepts and hands-on projects to erase the boundaries of creative design and robotics.

Science Explorer

(Years 0 – 3)
This action packed course makes learning science innovative and fun for young curious minds. With the use of the LEGO® Education BricQ Motion, we spark students’ interest in STEAM and promote an understanding of the marvels of science through creative hands-on LEGO® building.

Laws of Physics

(Years 2 – 4, 5 – 6)
An engaging hands-on lesson that encourages students to discover physical science in action. Students experience kinesthetic learning to ground their understanding of force, motion & interactions through guided lesson plans, which foster them to find their “Eureka moments” in understanding the Laws of Physics.

LEGO® Serious Play® for Education Workshops

For teachers & students
Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO® Serious Play® for Education workshops will lead students through a series of challenges which promotes self expression, communication and problem-solving. During the creative LEGO® building process, as a visual and kinesthetic communication tool, students will improve confidence in their ability to communicate ideas and create shared mindset.
